Windows 10 – Free Upgrade Ends July 29th
Unless you have been living under a rock, it is highly likely that you will be aware of Microsoft’s launch of Windows 10 and their free offer to upgrade!
This was heavily promoted by Microsoft from last June to users of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1, with the incentive of an entirely free upgrade for those applicable within the first year of the official launch.
As July 29th 2016 is the first anniversary of Windows 10, the free upgrade will officially cease on this date and will no longer be available.
Therefore, if you have been putting off upgrading to Windows 10, now is the time to decide whether it is right for you to do so in order that you can still take advantage of the free upgrade.
We wrote an article discussing whether to upgrade which highlights some of the potential risks and the key features and benefits of the new software.
